New pictures and information about Jake

Hello everyone! Well it has officially been over two months since Jake left for Alaska and cannot express how excited I am to see him in three weeks. Most of you know how hard this has been for me but I have made it through and feel so blessed for all the support from my family and friends. I truly feel so lucky to have all of you in my life!

Jake has done so great out there...although I didn't think he would have any problems. Being the silly girl I am I got addicted to, "The Deadliest Catch" and of course felt very unsettled after watching it night after night. I am slowly breaking my habit and moving to a little less intense show...Reba! It is a great show...you should watch it sometime:o) everyone knows how strong and hard working he is but not one of us...well maybe Joel can understand fully what he has experienced out there. I know he has met some good friends, seen some amazing things and pushed himself beyond what he ever expected and feels fortunate also to have the support of our family and friends behind him. He just arrived back in Dutch Harbor yesterday and will receive the care package I sent him over a month ago...I can't wait to hear from him.

He is fishing for Yellow Fin right now which is a lower paying fish but the good news for that is he goes into Dutch Harbor more often...which means when his 90 days is up on September 5th he will be able to get off the boat shortly after. A lot of the trips he has been on like this last one for instance they would travel a day or so to the fishing grounds, fill the boat and then off load on another ship in the middle of the sea so there isn't any reason for them to go back to Dutch Harbor. From what I understand they have to off load Yellow Fin in Dutch Harbor which is good for me:o)

I will keep everyone posted on what is going on, but that is it for now. I love you all!
